Third round of Tropicana liquidation features suite furniture, kitchenware

A third round of liquidation sales at Tropicana Las Vegas will offer new items like suite furniture, Bose radios and more kitchenware.

International Content Liquidations, Inc. announced that Phase III of the sale will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $20 per person, though the fee is waived for anyone bringing a box truck or larger, according to an email from ICL.

The sale will be conducted in the club tower pavilion, a change from the previous phase .

ICL says new merchandise not previously offered will include suite furniture, luggage racks, Bose radios, stack chairs, vacuum cleaners, small kitchenware, hair dryers and vanity mirrors.

Commercial kitchen equipment will be half off, and all furniture is listed as buy one, get one free.

If buying standard guest room furniture like desks, nightstands, lamps, upholstered chairs, pictures and mirrors, a pickup truck can be filled for a flat fee of $25 and a box truck or trailer for $100.

Anyone attending is reminded that there will be no water on site. Anything purchased will have to be removed the same day, and only adults 18 and older are permitted.

All items will be sold as is, and buyers will be responsible for removing their purchase.

Tropicana closed its doors back in April, and the building is now being stripped for demolition or implosion. The site is then expected to be prepped for a new baseball stadium for the Oakland Athletics.
