Strolling around town: Local eye-catching architecture and landscaping make our neighborhoods beautiful

June 4, 2024

There’s no place like home, and each week, the Democrat-Gazette’s Saturday Style section is devoted to content related to homes and gardens. While brainstorming recently, we thought: “What better way to focus on homes and gardens than by highlighting those around us?” So, starting this month, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette features staff will share photos of homes and sites that have caught their attention. Perhaps it is the architecture of the home or a particularly striking garden/landscaping that stands out to our staff member.

It might be something with historic interest, or it could just be off the beaten path; a place we come across during a stroll around town. We hope you will enjoy this stroll with us.
