NORMAL — Household waste and recycling will be the only materials the Town of Normal’s waste collection service collects on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
Bulk waste, landscape waste, brush and other waste collection services for residents with Wednesday collection will be taken the following week as weather and schedules permit.
Normal’s electronic recycling center will also be closed on June 19. Offices will reopen the following day.
Residents should place any items for collection at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on the day of collection.
