The features a simple slatted construction reminiscent of traditional Japanese joinery, with a small ledge at one end supporting the headrest and another forming a small shelf on the other end.
The geometric timber combines with the chubby cushions to create what describes as a “textural masterpiece”.
“The small profile of this daybed makes it ideal for bringing extra seating in front of a window or at the foot of the bed,” said the family-owned company, which has been producing furniture since 1893.
Like all of the company’s products, Dag is made by craftspeople in Österlen using raw materials sourced in Sweden or nearby Denmark, with the aim to create products that will stand the test of time.
