- 33″H x 131.5″W x 41″D
I chose 92″ based on the dimensions of my office, and it fits neatly along one wall. Though I put it in my work space, this couch could absolutely take center stage as a living room couch. I could also see the 92″ version working well in a playroom or den.
Sit test: Is it comfortable? Does it feel well-made? Does the couch have a tendency to sag?
It’s so comfortable—I would say that is what stands out the most about this sofa. The cushions are full and soft without being saggy, plus I feel very supported in my back when I sit on it.
It’s very spacious—even more than I imagined it would be from the pictures—four people could comfortably sit on this couch together.
As far as depth is concerned, it can accommodate people of all heights. I’m 5’3″ and my husband is 6’3″, and we both can sit comfortably on it. If I sit all the way back, my feet don’t fully touch the floor, which isn’t a big deal to me. My husband usually has the opposite problem of feeling like couches are too shallow for his long legs, but not so with the Leigh! With 41″ of depth, it gives him plenty of space to stretch out.
Lay test: Is it comfortable? Does it feel well-made? Does the couch have a tendency to sag?
It’s especially comfortable to lay on, given its generous depth. You could easily take a nap on this. As for cuddling or spooning, that is also completely doable on this couch because (again) of that generous depth! And then, stretching out vertically is not a problem at all—even on the smaller size couch (92″), there should be room to spare.
Is the sectional suitable for particular decor styles, and if so, which?
The sofa is very neutral and minimalist, and will work especially well in contemporary and modern homes.
My design aesthetic is very minimal and contemporary. I love clean lines and natural textures. I like to keep spaces open and airy—I really value space and don’t like to be overcrowded with furniture or knick knacks. We live near the beach and I’ve kept the colors and textures in our home subtly coastal-inspired. The walls are painted a light sea salt, bright whites, sandy beiges, and sea glass tones appear throughout the home. Driftwood, jute, and linen make up much of the decor. The general vibe is cool and calm.
The Leigh sofa fits right in, with its fuss-free silhouette and bright hue. It looks comfortable (but not sloppy), clean, and inviting. I’m considering adding some as the final touch to tie it all together.
Is it durable and practical in a modern home?
Absolutely, thanks to its high-performance, stain-repellent upholstery.
Is the couch kid- and/or dog-friendly?
Yes—as mentioned above, the high-performance fabric makes it a winner for any home with dogs or kids. I’ll add that the fabric feels very durable and thick—I never worry that I’m going to snag or hurt it in any way.
